The trial team visited St. Georges Hospital in South London on Wednesday 1st October. We met with the respiratory research team and hope that they will be opening to recruitment soon – our first recruiting centre in London.               

The trial team visited Bradford Royal Infirmary on Friday 22nd August for the 6th Site Initiation Visit. It was a pleasure to meet Dr. Saralaya and his team of nurses and we look forward to recruiting patients in Bradford in the coming weeks. We will continue to open further sites

An information event is being held this weekend (Saturday 19th July 2014) at the MIDRU Building at the Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham. Anyone interested in finding out more about the trial is welcome to come along to the event at 12:30pm.

All 5 initial recruiting centres are now open to recruitment. The Portsmouth team have randomised 15 patients for participation in the trial and screening has begun at other centres across the country. We look forward to the first patients being randomised outside Portsmouth. Keep up to date
